Windows 7 Synaps AutoPrinter Update Instructions

This applies to the March 2012 onwards version of Synaps on Windows 7 machines.

  1. Click on the start menu icon. In the search bar, type ‘Programs and Features’ and click on the ‘Programs and Features’ option.
  2. Find ‘Synaps AutoPrinter’ in the list, and right click on it. Select ‘Uninstall/Change’. Click ‘OK’. This will uninstall the existing auto printer application.
  3. When this is done, go to: and click the ‘Install’ button. This will download ‘setup.exe’.
  4. Run ‘setup.exe’. When prompted with an ‘Open File – Security Warning’, click ‘Run’. When prompted with an ‘Application Install – Security Warning’, click ‘Install’. This will download, install and run the ‘Synaps AutoPrinter’ application.
  5. In the ‘System Tray’ right click on the ‘Synaps AutoPrinter’ icon and select ‘Settings’. Type in your Synaps login details and click ‘Check’. Click ‘OK’ and then close the application form with the ‘x’ in the top right corner. It will continue to run in the background.
